questions we hear often

Q: Do you have classes for children ?
A: No, not at this time. Please check our links page for a list of local children's classes.

Q: I don't have a kiln, can I bring my work for you to fire?
A: Sorry, even with three large kilns, we can't keep up with what is made buy our students and members.

Q: What's the difference in Pottery and Ceramics?
A: Ceramics refers to the type of materials used to make everything from glass to the tiles on the Space Shuttle's belly.
Pottery
is what potters make out of ceramic materials. However, Ceramics is often used to describe Slip Casting.
